I enjoyed doing this little Clio. It was some time back this job, and I have just rediscovered the pictures in a back up file after my original site was scrapped last year.

What I enjoy about doing jobs like this is, everyday older cars don't normally get the time and attention spent on them to get them back like new again. For this reason, when I see a non prestige car looking like its just rolled out the showroom I find them even more impressive as I know how much work and time the owner has put into it and the pride in showing it off in that condition

My neighbour had bought this car second hand for his wife, and I needed his help tiling my bathroom...so a deal was struck to help each other out :D The Clio was looking a bit forlorn and had picked up some nasty scratches in its life, but I could see it was a cracking little motor as it was unmolested (Im sure the bonnet had never been lifted since new  ) and I was confident it could be brought back to like new again :buffer:

Hi Mark...No I sold it to someone in the club. It got vandalised in November and had the Windows put through...no glass covering my insurance and facing £750 for glass replacement I had no choice but to let it go....Started back up with a green mk1 Mercedes Aclass :D
