I bought a new Mercedes E class estate just before Christmas last year.
It's in Obsidian black. It's now covered in swirl marks.
I've just bought DA pro +
Check anyone tell me if the lacquer is hard or soft please?
Also best way to tackle the job
Cheers
Pete

Welcome to the Forum.

Having machined polished the merc, I can certainly say that it has hard paint.

Go for a thorough decontamination first - shampoo, de-tarr, iron fallout and clay treatments and you will have a great surface on which to polish.

Polishes wise, Scholl S17+ on a Scholl white spider sandwich pad will remove any heavier imperfections and Scholl S30+or S17+ on a yellow 3M pad for lighter imperfection will do a great job.
