As a newbie to detailing, I find the use of acronyms on this site very confusing. I never know what is being asked or talked about. What is SRP?

SRP, doesn't have hardly any abrasives in it...it's mainly fillers.

It is not the SRP, when used with a machine polisher, that provides any degree of correction...it is the friction of the pad that is doing most of the work.

If you use a machine polisher...use a corrective polish which will do a far better job than SRP can.

Do you mean 3M polishes or Farecla G3? - the pro versions like yellow, green blue etc etc

If 3M, they normally come in 1 litre sizes, unless someone has rebottled them...that's enough polish for about 50 cars!
