I have a ford mondeo black estate car last year i put Poorboys black hole and Zymol Glasur wax on it to get over winter on the off side front wheel arch i had rust coming through so decided to get the wing replaced it now need redoing again for the summer/autumn i do have some swirl marks and light scratches so was going to get a DA polishing machine any advise on which machine and pads with compounds and pads would be helpful i have never used a machine before so the DA6v2 with the Meguiars Hexlogic kit has been suggested what are your thoughts

mondeo's have hard paint, so a DAS 6 PRO has sufficient power to deal with most imperfections.

As for the pads, 3M yellow (medium firm) or Chemical guys hexlogic or Quantum equivalents should be fine, together with Scholl S17+ or the finer Scholl S30+

Black Hole, being a glaze needs only a very soft pad to apply it. 3M's Black pad is my go too one for this and also can be used for a final finish polish using a jewelling technique.
